^ lol. That pic is from the crazy guy in Eastern Europe who took apart his PS3 to fix his fan (which indeed is just as large as that pic indicates).

P.S. Welcome to the PS3 Owners Club, Matthew!

Thank you, Icemage.

Yeah, this thing stays pretty damn cool. Surprised it has the internal shutoff, really cool stuff.

I'm not sure, I've never heard of it happening, but if you ever get a blinking red light, that's what it is.

Saw this posted elsewhere and just had to share! Contrived, but hilarious.

You seem to notice a lot of people who don't always have a high opinion of the PS3 change their mind within moments of owning one.

National Geographic Makes Move to Blu-ray Exclusivity (UPDATED) | High-Def Digest
It's now semi official. Apparently National Geographic hasn't stated that they are Blu-Ray exclusive, just that they won't be supporting HD DVD. They still only have one title announced and it comes out in April. And it only applies to movies under the "National Geographics Presents" category. There are some that they co-produce but get distributed by others, and they aren't affected by this.

You're 67 posts too late. I posted that 3 days ago.

Any rhythm gamer knows that the PS3 (with BC, of course) is a Godsend for upscaling PS2 home versions for usage on any TV that is not an SDTV. Playing nearly lag-free is always a nice thing.
