well in the UK it seems all the stores are screwing ps3 owners, on release for every multi platform game, the xbox 360 is the cheaper of the two.

If you dwleve into pre owned games, I often see 360 games for 20 and under pre owned, with ps3 25 - some 40 pound tagged pre owned.

Does anyone no why stores charge more for ps3 games despite the RRP being the same at launch

2 reasons, that I've guessed.

The 360 is an older system now, the PS3 is less than a year old in the UK, over time, the release prices of games drop significantly. A while ago, new PS2 games were sometimes £25.

It's possibly the cut on PS3 games is somewhat smaller than 360 games, so the extra £10 is for profit to them.

I hope the cut comes sooner rather than later. Paying 40-50 pound for new releases is ok, like Metal gear 4, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Gran turismo and Haze I wil pay that for.

But older titles like ---

Rainbow Six Vegas - seen it for 40 pound pre owned what the hell lol

Ghost Recon 2 - Again 40 pound in most places

NHL 2K7 - 30 pound, the game is now out of date to

Sonic the hedgehog - 30 pounds , the game is terrible though lol

Fear - 35 pounds pre owned

Lair - 40 pounds new, 37.99 pre owned lol,

those prices are on average,I have seen slighty cheaper, and slighty dear than those prices stated but not by much
