Hard to get an idea of the story based upon a demo. In the demo the gameplay did nothing whatsoever to impress me and that's what my rating and comparison to other demo's is based upon.

Yeah I never really trust demos that much, a great game can have a shitty demo, and a bad game can have a great demo, it almost tricked me into buying Blacksite Area 51, I thought the demo was pretty sweet until I saw the reviews. On The Darkness however it helps a whole lot if you've read the comics.

Really? I list Blacksite as one of the worst demo's that I've played on the PSN. I'm not a big FPS fan, so a demo has to stand out enough for me to be interested. Before playing the demo I had some interest in The Darkness, but the demo was nowhere near enough to convince me that it was a must own.

With the Darkness being 20 pound or less in a lot of stores now, It is worth your money.

I had a choice between conflict for 45 pound, or turok for 40 pound. I went with Turok although I'm not to happy with it

I'm expecting that I won't be getting another FPS until Resistance 2 comes out. I enjoyed Resistance 1 and so far it's been enough FPS for me this generation.
