unfortunately there will not be enough space on the PS3's hardrive to install the demo as currently MGS4 takes up 8 boo-ray disks

I don't see why people are getting their panties in a bunch over Kojima wanting more space... in my opinion video games are like art. The main difference between video games and paintings or music however is that video games are constricted by technology and disc space. This is probably the closest Kojima has ever gotten to truly realizing his vision.

I mean, wouldn't an artist want to see their drawings come to life exactly how they drew on or a composer want to listen to their music and it sounds like they where there?

I think Kojima made that comment because he was frustrated that the got so close to completing his vision but wasn't able to go all the way.

I honestly don't think developers want to cut corners in terms of design because it compromises their vision.
