But really, I heard that aside from graphics of course, it was just a FPS with hilarious (as in bad) AI.

Actually, aside from the graphics of course, it wasn't a bad FPS at all. The AI was mostly good, though their insanely high priority of jumping on the machine guns, even if you're standing right next them gave me a chuckle. Really the most fun in the game comes from the feeling of freedom you get when you play it. Grab bad guys by the throat, shoot down trees, pick up anything within reasonable size and weight and drop or throw it, drive most any vehicle, blow pretty much any building, run where you want to, complete the objectives when you want.. etc. If you like exploring it's one of the funnest games you can play. I don't see why a lot of people call it just the average shooter really. Unless there's some shooters I haven't been playing.. and I don't think there are.. It's really actually quite different.

Anywho, I wouldn't be so anxious for a PS3/360/Wii(godforbid) version of any Crysis game. I promise you it won't look or play even remotely as good as the PC version.

I've never played the game but it looks alright, after all graphics don't make a game good.

As I've said before, they're making the engine for BOTH consoles (the ones that matter [360 and PS3]), and they've not confirmed Crysis for either... either.
