yeah, for some strange reason, my ps3 won't connect to my router. i dunno why and its been pissing me off. any ideas to help???

Do you get any error messages, or does it just say that it's unable to connect? You can always try the generic fixes like power cycling your router and modem, along with re-entering the connection info in the PS3.

you need to give us more information, Like how you set it up, try give us a step by step run through of what you did while setting it up, also tell us what router you have and were your router is to your ps3

(2) I know I've seen you online before; is this a new router? Or did something happen to take your PS3 offline?

(2) something has happened to take me offline, though i dunno what it is. Now my PS3 won't even detect my router but will detect my neighbours' which i think is really strange.

Is your router broadcasting the SSSID?

Yeah, it is. Anyway, i partially fixed it. My PS3 will connect to the router but not the internet.

What is your router actually connected to? Cable? DSL? That'd probably help us figure out what settings your router might need to connect to the Internet.
