Default Router Help

Ok this has been happening for a while. My PS3 just randomly disconnects from the PSN every once in a while. I can get online and play a bit but it never fails to happen.

My router is a Linksys WRT54G ver. 6.0 running on the latest firmware (I just updated it today to see if it would do anything).

When I run the Internet Connection test I get:

Obtain IP Address: Succeeded
Internet Connection: Succeeded
PLAYSTATION(R)Network: Succeeded
UPnP: Available
NAT Type: Type 2

"The router in use may not support IP fragments, and the communication features of some games may be restricted."

The main reason I want it to be stable is because I want to play Eye of Judgment online (which I have never been able to do).

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you forwarded the relevant ports, or put your PS3 in the DMZ?

I've done both.

These are the right ones correct:
• TCP Ports: 80, 443, 5223, and 10070 - 10080
• UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658, and 10070

?

Have you checked that your PS3's IP address is the same as when you put it as DMZ? I know my router (Linksys, as yours) sometimes change your IP between DHCP sessions, forcing me to change DMZ settings

Can you list your PS3 Network address settings? (don't include your personal WAN IP address, that's just asking for trouble). But the rest of the specs would be useful.

Also, is your PC connected to the same router, and has no problems?

Make your router assign IP address based on Mac Address, so you'll always get the same IP.

You mean the stuff under "Settings and Connection Status List"?

But wouldn't I have to do that for every device? (I live with 3 other people).

Also how would I go about doing that?
