Lair updates coming

A free update for Lair will come on Apr 17th in Japan.

It adds control by the left analogue stick (instead of SIXAXIS), DualShock 3 support, better aim function, 2 bonus dragons (Wind Dragon and Poison Dragon) and custom themes that change randomly on startup

Now they just need to drop the price of the game to $30 and they might have a chance at salvaging the game.

I actually bought Lair today. It was $25 used, so I figured at that price, with better controls it'd be worth trying.

I played the first couple of levels. Nothing too intense yet, but it seems decent so far. No control complaints and no bashing off of everything.

huh. I would have figured Sony would have bargain binned the game and erased all traces of it by now.

I really don't know. The whole thing seems a little weird because there were rumours that analog was being added even before the game was released. Now I've heard that there's suddenly a demo available for the game in the Hong Kong store, or something like that. It's like the game has been out for 8 months and they're just now trying to actually start selling it.
