Trophy discussion

Some of those bronze ones sound rather hard, especially when they give a gold for hosting a game. Plus I'm not a big fan of the ones that require you to die. They're fine if people do them in a free for all but it's kind of counter productive in a team game.

Is it really that bad to have to play Uncharted again? I had been planning on it anyway and had just finished MGS4 the day before the patch, so it worked out well for me.

...you have to replay it? that sucks, i may have too to once i borrow the game again from my friend....

as for warhawk, some of those trophies i may never get even the somewhat easy ones, hosting a game for 4 hours? i might not have the patience to stay on for that long...unless otherwise...

In Warhawk you can host a ranked server without having to play in the games. Not sure if it'll force you to play while hosting to get the trophy or if you can just set it and forget it and have a trophy waiting for you when you come back.

no its not but i have like 5 games still in shrink wrap, Mercs 2 drops this month i just dont have time to go back and play old games

You could always go against the grain and say trophies can wait. It's always cool to be different and nonchalant about this kind of thing. It's a lot better than those who say they refuse to buy anymore games that don't offer trophies.

A list of the trophies that will be coming in the PAIN update. This is only for the downtown level. The Amusment Park level launches at the same time as the trophies do, so it may or may not have trophies from the start. They also hint that more may get added to the downtown level as the game grows.

Gold Trophies

• Affliction Addiction: Get one billion points (Good Luck)

Silver Trophies

• Dude Abides: Use “The Dude” to score 50 Strikes in Bowling

Bronze Trophies

• 10 Mill Club: Get “PAIN in the Park” and “D-Town Destruction”
• Harder **bleep**’s Balls: Get all of **bleep**’s Balls in the Block Party Dumpster without resetting
  (Heh heh heh) I really need adult supervision.
• D-Town Destruction: Get 10,000,000 score in PAINdemonium and Aftermath
• Combo Mambo: Get 20x Combo in PAINdemonium, Aftermath, Block Party and Demolition
• Attention Spam: Get every type of PAIN (Groin, Head, Arm, Hand, Leg, Foot and Body) combo in PAINdemonium, Aftermath, Block Party and Demolition

PAIN Add-on Character Trophies

• Trill: Get PAINful Tosser Trophy with Scurv Dogg or Hung Lo
• Grenade-A-Maid: Get Exploded 500 times with any female launchable character.

Sometimes I can't even play that game long enough to even begin to get some of those trophies..... Its kind of a game you play when theres really nothings else to do....

So how are the trophy's playing out? Anything compared to achievements? Or are they pretty much the same thing?? (Aimed at peopel with a 360)
