Default Your top 5 ps3 games so far

what are favorite ps3 games you owned, or have played enough to decide its your favorite.

Mine are

1) Uncharted Drakes Fortune - This game does not really have great lastibility because it takes around 8 hours or less to complete. Still the sheer enjoyment I had at the time is unrivaled by any game I've played this year. The game as left me eagerly waiting for the sequel

2) Call Of Duty 4 - The first Call of duty ive played, and I loved it. The game play was very responsive, easy to control but game was challenging, with good variety of play and decent storyline. I still play the Multi player now and will be for months to come.

3) Warhawk - The ultimate online multilplayer game, best multiplayer experience I've ever had. Huge maps lots of people, lots of weapons, land and air vehicles to play with. Spent hour after hour on this game, the games a bargain for 19.99 on PSN

4)Ghost Recon 2 - The tactics had my head wrecked at first, as there is lots you can do with your team and it matters what you do with them. Soon though I was mastering the commands and thinking strategies to flank the enemies. The multi player is good when you get a game with more than 6 players.

5)Fifa 08 - EA have done it this year, they made a game that is actually better than Pro Evolution soccer. The game play Engine still ain't 100% right, still feels like the ball is stuck to players feet a bit, and physical appearance and abilities of players is not as noticeable as it should be.
But an awesome manager mode, and amazing online play beats the total package pro evolution soccer offers, even if its game play engine ain't as good, this year it doesn't matter.

I've never really thought about it, but I can quickly throw an approximate list together.

1). Warhawk - Most fun I've had with an online game. Looks like it should be shallow, but there are just so many different ways that you can play. Also an online game that I'm fairly decent at with around a 1.25 K/D ratio and rising.

2). Ratchet and Clank - Haven't played any of the previous games in the series, so the traditional negative of same old, same old doesn't apply. On my 3rd play through and it's still fun.

3). Uncharted - Haven't played it as much as the two games above it on the list, so it does still have a chance to move up in the rankings. On my 2nd play through and it really is the total package for a game. Great graphics, music, story and characters with very decent gameplay as well.

4). Resistance - Like most people it was the 1st game that I played for the PS3. Hadn't payed much attention to the PS3 and it's games before I bought it(stupid $650 impulse purchase), but had heard this game mentioned. Turned out to be a very good game, and my first real experience with online gaming. Not quite as good online with only a 0.85ish K/D, but still fun to pop in and play every now and then.

5). Motorstorm - The demo got me interested in this and the fact that I'm a racing game fan(as long as the cars don't handle like they're driving on ice). Been playing it quite a bit again recently and it's still fun online. Actually got upgraded to God the other day for the first time ever, so that's cool and makes me feel special.

What? PES 2008 is way better than FIFA. FIFA is too slow and the player likenesses are crap.

I forgotten about Ratchet and Clank, great game with lots of cool little weapons to try out. The game looks great as well like a Disney Pixar film lol

Your right, the likenesses are crap, the gameplay is way to slow. The Pro Evo this year has a stupid amount of lag offline and online lag is unplayable.
The frustrating thing with Pro Evo's master league is that it has not moved on since Pes3 lol.

Pro Evolution always has had a better gameplay engine than Fifa and still has, but Fifa has closed the Gap in gameplay a little, due to Fifa having online play, non lag offline play, graphics that dont look simular to ps2 it wins for me this year its just more worth for your money.

Sad I have always been a hardcore Pro Evolution Fan, but Konami have got lazy this year Pro Evo 2008 on the ps3 feels like its not finished

I think the lag issues were blown way out of proportion. It isn't as bad as people say but it's there nevertheless. I still think it's better than FIFA. i think FIFA 07 on the PS2 is better than 08, simply because it has that classic FIFA feel. Now they're trying to be Pro Evo when it never will be.

again your right the Fifa gameplay is not very good, but it passes, it online is the main reason I like.
there is so much to do online and it runs smooth online.

The gameplay on the Ps2 version of pro Evo is very smooth, but mega fast like all the players are on a ton of crack.

Doesn't PES 2008 have a huge amount of bugs, and can't be played on an SDTV?

UnCharted
Ratchet and Clank
Resistance.

In that order, I didn't include multiplatforms, and Warhawk was underwhelming.
