You know... I just realised, the "L"'s in the logo look like upside down 7s...

This is the 7th game in the series canon.

I, belatedly, see what they did thar.

I never even paid attention, I'd kind of disowned the logo in favour of the normal font from 2 and 3.

As it turns out, this Metal Gear Saga pack that is being released features Metal Gear Solid, optomised for PS2.

By that, I mean, it removes the disc swap and allows you to save to a PS2 memory card, but there's no graphical changes at all.
