Default HAZE: UbiSoft showcases New Screens

New Haze Screenshots for PS3 -- DailyGame

I know theres been a thread about this game before but hey, I couldn't help myself after seeing the new screenshots. I was stoked back in November when it was supposed to come out, and although the delays have been a pain in the ass, this game looks sure to impress when it finally comes out in May. It looks well worth the wait. It reminds me of Red Faction 2 when I used to play it on PS2, a game which I also enjoyed very much.

heh, i love how the ps3's "big name shooters" were all hot topics last summer and by now, there is next to nothing being said about the likes of Haze and Killzone2.....

Haze was interesting, in that it shifted into the PS3-exclusive column (and has stayed there). It looks to have some neat features, and is coming from some of the best FPS developers on the planet (Free Radical make the quite excellent Time Splitters series), so I'm cautiously optimistic about the game. The frequent delays are killing the hype, however.

Killzone 2... whatever. I didn't really care about it before, and I still don't care about it now.

Well, Haze has more or less faded into obscurity.

Killzone 2 has no hype because rather than waste time making trailers, they're making the game, it has a lot to live up to. E3 may show more of it.

I haven't really noticed alot of hype for games myself. Except for Halo, which in my opinion didn't really need it. But hey, I always thought Halo was a really soft FPS. I tried and tried to play the first one on PC but just couldn't get myself to do it....

But I think on Sony's part its best off that they don't make trailers. They do a much better job when they just shut up and make the game. I'm sure Killzone 2 will be better then expected, as well as HAZE.

I'm still gonna get Haze, though I'm sure it's not going to be anything amazing it is made by Free Radical and I enjoy FPS's in general.

In regards to Killzone 2: as much the game interests me it's hard to get hyped for it when it's being treated like the biggest cover-up in the history of human civilization, why they refuse to say or show anything is beyond me. Do they want us to buy the game or not?!

I'm looking forward to HAZE myself, and hope Killzone will be a solid shooter. I enjoyed the first one although it deserved the shit it got after Sony hyped it up to be a 'Halo-killer'

I wouldn't praise the whole Time Splitters series, the first one sucked balls.
