I've been debating about UT3 since it came out. How is it as a game anyways? It looks like good graphics but how is the gameplay? All the news and review are swaying my thoughts into buying this game. It got an 8.5 on Gamespot but I value the good opinions of the faithfull nexgenwars peeps. Is this game a good buy?

I think its super fun. It doesnt have any solid ranks and all that its just a fast paced twitch based shooter. And mods can switch up the gameplay alot.

I was playing in Flatwars (a map thats essentially and superhuge living room) with a zero gravity mod, jetpacks, MK3rd person (behind the back not over the shoulder like the action cam), and freeze ray weapons replacing the shock guns IT WAS AWESOME!

The game is just pure fun.

Hmm I may go out and buy it today. What do you mean 'no solid ranks'? Like no ranking system? Just play for the sake of playing? By the way, that game isn't co-op online is it? And does it have a offline multiplayer at least?

UT3 needs to stop sucking ass before it can really be fun... i am refering of course to the horrible weapon and vehicle imbalance... if your gonna make the hellbender useless why bother leaving it in? if you add a new air superiority fighter why make it worse at air to air than the current fast action air to ground craft.... and dont even get me started on this....



if you have flown this "hi im a big slow completely useless brick... bit like the hellbender in the sky" you will know what i mean...

but the best thing ever is that damn invisible mine layer, every time theres a map with it on BAM im in and then i just go around running people over... while being totally invisible... aka they cant see me... so i can just hover up nudge them and its.... DEAD then i just nudge the guy next to him just a tiny bit while again being totally invisible and silent.... DOUBLE KILL!!!!
