Behold the power of UT3 (PS3)

Some enterprising souls have decided to rip Microsoft and Bungie off blatantly, as you can now play as a variety of characters, from Master Chief to Marcus Fenix to Spawn, made possible by the latest version update.

EDIT: I should note that I in no way condone the stealing of intellectual property - and I certainly have nothing to do with these particular projects. But it's still impressive and ironic.

There's also the Crysis guy, Spawn, Bender, and the Biker Mice from Mars.

Also they just ripped the textures from Gears and Halo PC and touched them up.

I just find it amusing that Master Chief looks better in UT3 than he does in Halo 3.

At the sacrifice of breaking the multiplayer I'll take 640p graphics over a game that is worse than its 3 year old predecessor.

UT3's multiplayer is fine after you add in some mods. The PC version is just as frenetic as UT2K4, and looks nicer. The only real drawbacks are the multiplayer modes aren't as good this time around; the lack of Assault mode is telling.

But all this should come, in time.
