Router Help

I just found a thread that mentions further ports to be forwarded:
TCP 10070-10080
UDP 10070 and 6000-6999

I believe you haven't forwarded the bolded ones, but not sure if that helps in any way..

You connecting wirelessly?

Sounds like something may be interfering with your wifi connection... try connecting with Cat5 and see what happens

How? I'm upstairs on the opposite side of the house from the router...

Yep. The strange thing is nothing else has this problem. My PC and laptop both connect without fail.

Damn that sucks.

That makes me think even more that its interference. I had the same issue with my wireless router and my PS3 until I moved the router closer... It was near a microwave and a multihandset cordless phone. Anyways, I hardlined it for awhile then moved the router and never had a problem again.

I would suggest moving a small TV and your PS3 close to the router and at least try it... if it works you know thats the issue, and you may need a repeater... if it doesnt work then you can scratch interference from the list.

Stonger WiFi components in them?

My wifes DS can connect to the Wifi outside and down the street, mine doesnt connect from the bathroom.. (40 feet away)

That might be it. The router is LITERALLY right next to the phone... but I can't move it.
