| I just found a thread that mentions further ports to be forwarded: TCP 10070-10080 UDP 10070 and 6000-6999 I believe you haven't forwarded the bolded ones, but not sure if that helps in any way.. Link

| Sounds like something may be interfering with your wifi connection... try connecting with Cat5 and see what happens

That makes me think even more that its interference. I had the same issue with my wireless router and my PS3 until I moved the router closer... It was near a microwave and a multihandset cordless phone. Anyways, I hardlined it for awhile then moved the router and never had a problem again. I would suggest moving a small TV and your PS3 close to the router and at least try it... if it works you know thats the issue, and you may need a repeater... if it doesnt work then you can scratch interference from the list.
