Change of Admins - Page 3

I assume this was directed towards me, and while you may never read the reply, I'll go ahead and address it anyway.

I'll point out that I'm not bitter or disgruntled. I made the choice not to move, and that was my choice alone. I don't begrudge anyone who moved, nor did I ever try to convince anyone to not move. To be totally honest, I'm actually happy that I'm not spending as much time in front of the computer these last few weeks, and really haven't missed it at all.

As for the change in the mod team, I never told, suggested, or implied that Dennis should do it. That was his choice alone, and I had nothing to do with it. We were picked because we were the group that got in touch with him through his other forum. Why he felt the need to do it and not talk with Phoenix or any of the mods about it, I have no idea. He claims lack of communication, and that under their watch the majority of the community was encouraged to leave and go to another site.

I had said to Phoenix when we first got in touch with Dennis that this wasn't being done in an attempt to further break up the community, as we both realized that if Dennis made many of the changes that had long been suggested some people would come back here, while some wouldn't. I doubt it was his intention, but Dennis appears to have done a pretty good job at making sure that wasn't going to happen. Now you can go on at your new place and not have to even think about this site anymore if you don't want to, and everyone can hopefully move on. I did weeks ago, and now maybe you can too. Just be happy you never have to talk to me again.

I can put everyone at ease as well and tell you that Dennis said he really isn't making any money off of this site, although it sounds like that was already the case even before everyone left. Will this admin change do anything to change that? On it's own, no. The likelihood of this site ever being prosperous again are slim to none at best. Worst case scenario we maintain the status quo here, and it really can't get any worse than that.
