No one is making you come back if you don't like it here anymore. If you feel the need to justify that you made the right choice, that's fine but I don't think anyone here really cares about how many people are at each site throughout the day. I find it amusing that people are actually accepting this, and even thinking that it's a step forward. I'm looking especially at you, boffo. You may or may not have that feeling about NGW that I have. That's okay, I don't know. But what I do know is, the same person who destroyed our fanbase and community, has decided to give you full responsibility over NGW, and has decided to take the role of 'sponsor.'

In other words, he broke NGW, gives you responsibility, and leaves with little proof of activity. All I'm waiting for is that he's going to blame the admins for killing NGW, and that he had nothing to do with it. As for that, you'll probably believe him. Just as you accepted his act of shittyness.

And don't even dare tell me, that if I don't like it here, I should leave. I came back to help.

You may find it amusing, but you don't sound amused...

I have my own amusements, such as the sudden anger that the owner wants to take on a role of sponsor. This isn't news, and you should remember this post from december '07:

The site is really the community of members. You won't see me on the day to day (even though my id says admin), as an owner, think of me more like a sponsor. Admins and mods really run the day to day. Members influence the site, and you are right, the membership drive is very important. He has stated this almost from day one, and I have known this all along as should you. It has not influenced my stance.

If you truly are back to help, it's appreciated. We're not benefitted by looking at what's wrong in past and present, but rather what we can do right from today onwards.

I don't look at it as a step forward. It's a lateral step at best. Without proper advertising or some attempt at bringing in new members, an admin change isn't going to change anything, and I told Dennis that. And up until Dennis takes action and makes some of the changes that get requested, I really don't believe much of what he says.
