|  Where our sales numbers come from
As some of you may or may not have noticed we once again have the access to change the front page numbers. This thread is here so that we can do our best to keep them up-to-date and accurate. If you see an article or news story that gives information about current console sales numbers, please go ahead and post it here. Make sure that the source of the article is at least somewhat credible. This thread is not the place to discuss the sales numbers, so only post here if you are linking to a source with more current numbers. Any other posts will be deleted. We want to make it easy for anyone viewing the site to find out where our numbers are coming from. The numbers as of June 2010 are: Quote:

According to Wikipedia Canada 870,000 as of August 1, 2008[83] November 22, 2005 United States 11.6 million as of November 1, 2008[84] November 22, 2005 Europe 7 million as of November 20, 2008[85] December 2, 2005 United Kingdom 3.2 million as of January 3, 2009[86] December 2, 2005 Japan 866,167 as of December 28, 2008[87][88] December 10, 2005 Worldwide 27.93 million as of January 24, 2009[1] (more...) And those numbers are now higher. Japan is at 964k US is higher after the latest NPDs And I believe UK is higher. Like I said, somewhere close to 29 million |

If the Wikipedia article sites its sources, we can always use the sources. For instance: MS: 360 Life-to-Date Sales Hit 28m | Edge Online So it is safe to assume that the X360 passed 29M in sales.
