Sony remains only free online provider.

Yeah, I would've thought they would fix up the actual online play before getting into some features that cost something.

Doesn't sound good.

Pay & Play sounds greedy.

I think they can afford to keep their online free, only license money from smash bros should be enough to give us free online this gen.

People need to learn to Read. NWC is still Free.

Pay and Play is a premium service (which I'm guessing sort of like XBL)

I'm pretty sure it's not a coincidence that this was announced the same day that S-E annoucned their new engine for MMOs would have Wii support. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Animal Crossing was the flagship title for this.
