I don't have a problem with Nintendo's online capacity at present, I think it makes perfect sense.

I'm not really interested in Animal Crossing either, so, this isn't good news for me, it's good news for the format.

Online is apparently important to a lot of people, so Nintendo deliver.

edit; Yes, I was implying online gaming for consoles (I'm one of those people that remembers when consoles weren't pc's) -was- not important, before the present and near future.
