Official Mario Kart Wii Thread!

You know it, I know it. Next to SSBB, the top online win-game from Nintendo is going to be MKW. And guess what, its not just karts anymore! (Epic news we all knew hours upon hours ago)

What do we know right now?
1) 12 player online mode (16 player online was rumored)
2) You can ride bikes aswell
3) You get a cheap plastic wheel
4) Its going to be awsome, and you know it.

Isn't it online battles as well, like, baloon battles?

God that was epic in MK64.

I hope they don't nerf shells this time though, shells should be there forever.

Mario Kart 64 is my favourite game of all time. My 2nd favourite is possibly Double Dash? Let's just hope that this beats them all into first, but even if it's my 3rd favourite i'll still love it and play it forever!

This is my most anticipated game of all the consoles!

How do you feel about the shells?

I got really annoyed that shells weren't there very long after MK64.

The green shells were awsome, nothing better than getting 2 portions of triple green shells and firing them at the wall so that the people behind you get to worry about avoiding them. They found great use in the tunnel in Luigi's Raceway in MK64 (and still do)

SO true.

Unfortunatly, the new games seem to remove shells after 60 seconds, rather then them beong there pretty much the entire match.

Blockfort was much more awsome with that.

i agree, the disappearing shells in DD were one of the worst parts of the game

and when did we find out that you could ride bikes, and are there any pics of it?

im not sure i really like the idea of bikes in MK tho.....
