| A friend of mine and me were checking out his component cables on a 1080p lcd television. We swapped around a bit to check. Anyways: pro: - colours are more like the true colours intended - everything is more sharp and crisp, not the usual blend of pixels like on a crt - the view is more "stable", the picture doesn't alter by just looking contra: - jaggies are way more visible. I never noticed them in Zelda, but with the component it was like LOOK AT ME IM A JAGGIE!!!!111!!0.99999!

Also, wasn't some people having issues on warranty (not from Nintendo, but... sony? Microsoft?) because when they tried to redeem the warranty the company ended up not fullfilling it because the customer had linked the console with a 3rd party cable.... I just randomly heard that somewhere, but yeah. So in my non-technical, totally mis-informed opinion, I'd say be safe and go with Ninty Component Cables.

| Rear Projector with a very good image processor. Almost no difference at all. (50 inch, 1080i tv - made by Sony nonetheless)

| The thing about Twilight Princess is that it's still a Game Cube game, some games do look decent on Wii with component. Wario Ware was very vibrant.

| Don't mean to hijack this thread, but how would i hook up the Wii to a computer monitor? I am having a hard time looking for cheap component to VGA. I mean it should be inexpensive right? After all its not like i am trying to convert "analog" to "Digital" right?

| ^ I heard capture cards aren't good for playing games on. There is usually a delay. http://www.vdigi.com/index.php?page=...chk=1&Itemid=1 this is a wii to VGA cable for $39.99 or if you want to go expensive. Neoya X2VGA 2 Product |
