Default Wii Component Cable, how much difference is there?
As we all know it was Christmas not so long ago.
I was lucky enough to receive a new Samsung HD LCD tv. Yes the picture of my Wii looks great, but i heard about this Component cable which is supposed to make it look more crisp and fine.

If you have all of these:
→HD TV
→Nintendo Wii
→Official Nintendo Component cable or a 3rd party component cable

Plz comment on the difference between the use of Component and without

Component is progressive so the picture will be much sharper. You should definitely get it.

I have an LCD TV, without it, there was no anti-aliasing, even on the menu. There was just jaggies, MOVING JAGGIES! The colours were also muted.

With the component cables, it looks a lot better, everything is smoother and the colours are fine.

Just remember (in case you didn't know) To change the settings to 16:9 widescreen and 480p resolution all in the Wii Settings part. You probably knew that, but couldn't hurt to clarify.

personally i did not notice a difference when I had it, only noticed the difference between standard and HD on ps3 and xbox.
Saying that I only played wii sports and wii play, so the games I played may not have shown a difference.

Basically, it'll make things more sharper looking, jaggies wont be as apparent (Though it will not get rid of them) and text and such is easier to read, higher contrast.

Its not quite a boost as a resolution increase would provide, but its still nice.

On an LCD/Plasma display the difference is almost night and day.
