That's why 1st parties are best. They don't have all those limitations.

Those game have different requirements. And the DS has an in-built microphone.

I'd be very surprised if Mario Kart Wii had voice chat included. I think if there were voice chat implemented, it would've been said by now - it's obviously quite a good selling point.

Well, we heard about text chat already, so I bet we would've heard about voice chat if it was included. No word of a headset yet either. It might not be impossible but it's definitely improbable.
