no its not. we dont rival vgchartz in any way other than the fact that they feel threatened by our ticker on the front page. they are the ones who felt like we were encroaching on them. basically we are just a small gaming community with an unused ticker

It's sort of a mercantilism approach to internet sites.

According to the president of MMV, No More Heroes has sold 100k+ in the US as of his most recent info: 社長ブログ*-*MMV社長のリアルタイム更新

NeoGAF states 65k in the first two weeks: NeoGAF - View Single Post - No More Heroes sells well and Suda cries tears of joy

Good job, Suda.

It never was a million-seller.

I don't think anyone really believed it would sell a million... 65,000 in the last two weeks in January is pretty good for a niche game with no budget.

It looks rather retarded to me.

But I won't judge it too hard.

Killer 7 sold like 15 000 copies, so these are excellent numbers.

The combat and characters are absolutely ridiculous and hilarious, at the same time, with tons of randomness. It's kind of a Kill Bill feeling combined with a fun combat system with the Wii's controls and great VAs/script. The overworld could've been much better (it's a little... barren), so you just kind of treat it like Super Mario Galaxy's galaxy hub.

Give it a rent if you're not sure, since I know that not everyone will enjoy this strange, twisted, but brutally satisfied game if he/she isn't into that kind of stuff.

If president of MMV is rejoicing at NMH's sales, that's great news for Suda 51 who has only really seen disappointment after disappointment for his unique games.
