I wish these damn media outlets would post whole interviews.


Considering the whole Zant thing I'd be kinda surprised if the next Zelda wasn't a direct sequel to TP, but Aonuma said be surprised, so I guess we'll see, huh.

Also, I found a Link to the Past a little boring, I think it'd be much more fun in 3d... Even if that's the last thing we need.

Then if they come out with a 3D version, you may just joygasm.

Or you may be one of those people who like classics the way they are and don't like them being updated, and you'll hate this potential 3D version. I'm not sure which.

Updating a game with flashier graphics is usually not a good idea. Changing a game from 2D to 3D would be a far worse idea.

I'd really think it depends on how it's done in my onions. I think Nintendo, with a little bit of effort, can pull it off. Also, with a new 3D version, they're introducing it into a new generation of gamers who may have never played nor heard of the original Link to the Past.

seriously, we should not be getting pumped at the idea of nintendo doing remakes. we should be getting pumped about new games, not upgrades of old. we are sending companies the wrong messages by getting pumped about the 2091734 FFVII remake or the 15th re4 port. we should be demanding NEW stuff, not just the same old same old.

On the website it almost looks like the different colours come with different games?

The balloon fightish one looks like Hello Kitty Adventure on Nes

(OT: HKA was platformer with balloon fight type gameplay... It even had the same music in parts [??])
