I also bought the game today. If I were to have my own development studios, this is the kind of game I would create. Only mine would suck gameplay-wise. This game, though, is quite awesome so far. I'm glad they didn't overdo it on the waggle.
That's one of the things I loved about it so much! How's the blood? I played the 'ash' version.

You slash someone and literally a fountain of blood. At times if you manage to slash enough people the whole screen goes completely red.

One thing I don't like though is that the driving part of the game seems almost like an afterthought. It just seems clunky and under-polished to me. I'm on rank 7 now though and everything else seems awesome. I love the humor in the game.

I noticed that too, they could have done without the driving parts and made the city smaller so you could just walk everywhere.

In short, there are some things here designed from the ground up to shock and offend.

No More Heroes certainly gets a nod for being wildly different. It’s a unique take on open world play, and its almost nihilistic fixation on violence for the sake of violence has a satirical and darkly comedic edge. Unfortunately, the repetition and lack of substance behind the flash left me cold.
Game Informer Online

As a side note, EDGE blows.

So does this mean the whole game sucks now because of one review?

Maybe it's just coincidence with the certain games I've seen them review, but I can't help but find that Game Informer blows the big ones.

No, but GI is one of the higher-profile review sources in the world, and figured I'd add to the reviews. As for the EDGE comment, that's just my opinion on EDGE, not the game.

Fair enough. I'm still waiting for 1up's review. It's gotten great reviews thus far though.
