Wow. In that case, all of religion is useless. As God is a mediocre game.

If I only like Playstation i wouldnt have Wii... you failed.

The game just annoyed me... I had alot of great concepts but I guess I was just dissapointed that it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be...

My lil sis LOVES it though lol

I have. I guess only the European/Japanese versions are mediocre. Without the (stylized) blood, it just doesn't feel the same. I guess opinions differ greatly sometimes.

Didn't like the combat, the overworld, or the dialog? I'd say go MUCH further into the game, since the loose story, the insane characters, and the gameplay get a lot more interesting. I will admit the game's not for everyone, though I'd actually be fine with the lack of blood for the EU/JP versions.

Thank goodness it's so easy to make money, so you don't have to spend too long in the overworld...

Yeah, me too, but only because I played the blood version first.

I've seen most of the cut scene comparisons, and there just feels like there's so much missing. It's a shame shame shame but wouldn't most people in pal territories be getting freeloaders for Brawl?

I mean, most hardcore gamers I mean. I couldn't expect anyone serious about playing games to wait so long for such a big game when there's such a cheap, simple solution.

All that said I can understand not everyone loving the game, but that just makes it better for me. It's not trying to appeal to everyone, but the people that 'get it', love it.

Interestingly enough, I think the "lame" jobs being present in the game was partially intentional just from the last Suda interview. It's supposed to be a gigantic contrast from the exciting, fantasy world of assassination... where sometimes in life you have to do lame jobs you don't like to do to move along (reminds me of Suda's job as undertaker... ouch), all part of the social commentary. Obviously, the overworld could've been more, but there's always card hunting (worth it!) and Lovikov Ball hunting (worth it!)... it'll probably be improved on if there's a sequel (hope there is).

It's a pretty great job from a team of just 48 people to make a game that's going to be remembered for a pretty long time, I think. A testament to the creativity of the small studio and a kick in the pants for Wii devs and for certain larger studios, whose crap we've been seeing too much of these days.

The only thing I regret is getting Tsubaki MK-III and the best upgrade too early in Bitter... that made scrubs too easy to kill and lowered the difficulty of some bosses. Should've saved it for Henry :P

The censored cut scenes are not quite as cool as the uncensored ones :\ At least the dialogue is UNCHANGED, which is really the big draw of the game. Not to mention that it's awesome that we got the VAs for Raiden from MGS2, Lulu from FFX, Cowboy Bebop's Spike, Luxord from Kingdom Hearts 2, AND Raine from Tales of Symphonia. :P

I've heard it rumored that some of the swearing was removed. valius, does Travis have the same dialog in the Letz Shake fight? (Sir Henry Motherfucker). (Killer7 was apparently censored in parts of the US [maybe pal?] version, but nobody can tell what the edits are, according to Gamefaqs)

Wada also said that the jobs are there because they wanted to make a game wherein you can't always just do what you want.

Good point about the small team, this is a small budget game and rocks hard, other devs should follow the example.

NMH apparently sold past the projections of 500k (pretty quickly, too) so hopefully we'll see a sequel.

I have a lot of ideas about the whole Travis/Henry/Silvia/Jeane thing, I think the plot could go nuts. (And that the story is much deeper than it seems)
