| I wouldn't be surprised if it happened, but I thought it would be like a direct-connect thing, and that doesn't require a server... But maybe not, I don't have a clue about how this stuff works. Unreal Tournament 1 did direct-connect, I think.

| Mkay. I guess it might happen if that's the case. Unreal Tournament 1 was always laggy without a dedicated server anyway. I remember I'd randomly spawn in slime pits. It was awful, you couldn't play at ALL. And that was LAN connection.

| You could play if the thing was like.. direct Ip. But matchmaking and stuff, so no. |

| They must have really improved the netcode for that game with patches and with the Dreamcast version, because even though Dreamcast used 56K, I still had good gaming games with that game on it online, mostly.

| Maybe it was just a firewall or something, because we had trouble getting the two computers to connect at all. It was always so irritating... Then when we figured it out, we had to add a third computer to be a dedicated server.
