Top 10: Nintendo games we'd love to see on Wii

I couldn't past the room with the stupid dials or whatever right at the start.

Since I didn't have a net connection I said 'screw this' and never played it again. (Same with nearlly all the resident evil games btw)

It isn't a scary game at all. It just messes with your head. It's a really great game though, probably one of the high lights from the Gamecube.

I thought I'd give a comment even though I never post, and didn't bother signing up till they added the filter for number of post read for non-registers. Yah I been reading for over a year, but that isn't important.

Either way I don't think that list was worth much. Basically they added too many low priority sport games. So I think I'll make my own list.

1) Kid Icarus; So It's been like ever since they made one but with Brawl there's interest. Anyway they need to do it right and make it half Metroid Prime and half Zelda Ocarina of Time with more primary emphasis on Mario like platforming. Basically a third person shooter with Prime like levels, Mario platforming, Zelda dungeons and towns, and don't forget the RPG leveling up and shops. The Gameboy space shoot levels aren't important.

2) Yoshi; Yes that right a Yoshi game in 3D, hasn't been done before but this would definitely use the Wii controls right. Imagine you point the wiimote where you want Yoshi to eat or throw eggs. You should be able to pretty much figure the rest out. Of course we're talking Yoshi Island quality here.

3) Pikmin; The list is right about this one, although I'm not exactly sure how to make use of the wiimote. But having on-line matches is a start.

4) Starfox; Like every list should have it not to mention the Wii is made for point and shoot rail shooting action. Though I'd like the game to stay rail shooter heavy, I think it would be neat if some levels allowed you to choose Arwing, Landmaster, or on foot. They could then throw in a few bonus infiltrate the base missions and a few arial dog fight battles while not ending up in the Defend Corneria type missions thrown at Assault.

5) Custom Robo; I don't know what advantage the series would get from Wii other than the on-line and possible aiming. But if Nintendo fixed what was broken in the series and moved forward farther in the direction the Gamecube one was going... They could make the game a proper big ARPG battle hybrid it's always tried to be. It's like it's stuck in Pokemon's change little each alliteration except unlike the former it needs work.

6) Kirby; A proper Kirby platformer in fact, that side-scrolling video looks about right. Just give us a Kirby game that does his old game like Kirby's Adventure, Dreamland 2, & Super Star proud. Although a Tilt'n'tumble game would be interesting don't ignore what the fans really want. Note that I don't know what the advantage to being on the Wii would be but there hasn't been a substantial Kirby platformer on consoles since the N64.

7) Donkey Kong; So what we really want here is something to live up to DK64 and the old Rare games. Personally I though dual character physics would be interesting where you play as DK, Diddy, Dixey, or Lanky(or whoever else you want) in a team combo so it's like in DKCountry but you choose which two you control. However which two characters you use determines what techniques you can use beyond the basics of each. Say you chose DK and Dixey you can them fling the wiimote to have DK throw Dixey so you can bridge a large gap.

8) Golden Sun; Nintendo need to quit screwing with us and make the third game already, obviously you can do more with Wii than the DS and the Wii could always use more serious RPGs. But I'll leave it at that.

9) Earthbound; I don't care if the create said he wasn't making another. Nintendo keeps ripping us off on the series if you live outside of Japan. I don't care if you just remake Mother 3. Give use something. I'd even except Earthbound 64 finished and on virtual console.

10) Star Tropics; Didn't expect that one did you? Well Nintendo reviving the old adventure series would be something different.

And now some honorable mentions
1) Lolo; Some new classic puzzle action just like the old ones only with wiimote use.
2) Panle de Pon; They need Wiiware version to go with Dr. Mario already, you know you want it.
3) Ice Climbers; This should happen if for nothing more than a laugh. Of course there's allot to improve on here.

I wish capcom would get it's head out of it's rear and develop a good 3D Megaman game.

edit: Most of that list (Star Fox, F-Zero, Luigi's Mansion, pilot wings, and 1080) are under the list of "who cares". Star Fox was awesome on the SNES and N64, but there is a reason why they are not making new ones. It just isn't going to be as fun anymore on the current generation hardware. F-Zero is just another racing game. Luigi's Mansion, I never played (or don't remember playing it) and really didn't see a reason to re-release the title let alone make a new one. Pilot Wings is one of those games that could actually come across as fun. 1080 is SSX Blur.

Surely Nintendo has better franchises than these.

It'd be interesting to see what they would do with it. The last one was in the SNES days (which I played and beat a long time ago), so I have fond memories of it
