| If it hasn't been said before (and it has), Harmonix just dropped the ball on this one. As I said earlier, even if Rock Band has a good-sized songlist, the size of which can match the ones of other disc-based rhythm games, it is still no excuse not to have DLC or online play, when that's the model the other versions on other current-gen consoles (that also come with online connectivity by default like the Wii) are following (I'm not expecting Rock Band to do something like a mix a year as other rhythm games do). So Wii users don't get access to the newer songs? Bleh. And paying the same price for less content? Bleh. Well, time to invest in Guitar Freaks and Guitar Hero III...

| I can't decide which is more sad. Leo trying to defend Activision for putting up a gimped port or Red Octane making Acitivision look bad. I guess this is where you have to decide. Guitar Hero 3 Wii: Online, DLC, Stereo Sound. Rock Band Wii: No online, No DLC, Stereo sound is a possibility. Drums and microphone. Just had an epiphany. Could the gimping be coming from Nintendo? Could you convey a message online using the Microphone to younger users instead of actually playing the game?

No online=No care, I can't be the only person that thinks like this. To RB owners- What is your ratio of offline to online play in this game? |

Also, I think you mean mono sound there... but IIRC Activision has started shipping the stereo sound discs already, and offers them as free replacements for the people who bought the early mono sound discs. Har har, nice try. The difference is that was purely a mistake, and they've corrected it (for free of course). The lack of online in Rock Band is pure laziness, and it will never be corrected. |

And if I read correctly... You'll buy the game that was gimped and had no effort put into it, yet you refuse to buy the game that was accidentally gimped, corrected, and had tons of effort applied to its development. :| |

| Mono sound in GH3 ruins the game, local multi only in Rock Band does not. (Besides, with drums and vocals GH isn't even in the same league) |
