Shame that's irrelevant to the question.

Not to mention, the mono is being fixed in GHIII (could've sworn I said this before). Not so for the lack of online.

It's still inexcusable the game was shipped with mono sound in the first place, I doubt I'll ever buy an activision game again.

(How dare they)

It's still inexcusable Rock Band was shipped with no online capabilities whatsoever and will never be fixed, I doubt I'll ever buy a Harmonix game again.

Is what you should've said.

But keep the lame Defense Force attempts coming, sooner or later I'll find something sigg-able.

Do you know what inexcusable means? The Wii's online capability isn't exactly running full steam at present, it's understandable this game doesn't have online play-- To me.

ok, couple of things,

why is it understandable that in 2008, over a year and a half from launch, a console doesnt have a truly functional online?

also, what happens if RB ships and people find out after the fact that it only has mono sound?

That's because you're a complete Nintendo fanboy. To anyone in their right mind, it is inexcusable. If this game has online, a game that is known for it's strong online and that uses it as one of it's key selling points should definitely have online, no questions asked.

The console does have truly functional online, it's just not fully realized, so far. MKWii/The future will change this, and I will eat a live dog if RB2 doesn't have online

Imo, the game is known for having DLC, not strong online.

It's known for both. One of the great things about Rock Band is being able to rock out with your buddies at any time, wherever they are. DLC may be bigger, but you can't play down the online play.

I can, but I'm Leonidas.

I have serious doubts that this game gets played online all that much, like I said before, it seems peripheral to me.

Could be wrong.
