Yeah...what's with the 'nades iin this game? It's not uncommon to find yourself literally surrounded by grenades at any point in time.

2 other cons:
1. Only 1 save-game at a time? Nonsense!
2. Unending respawn points? So, if I try to sit in one spot and pick bitches off, they'll NEVER stop respawning and I'll end up running out of ammo. What the hell? So now I'm forced to run into the middle of things. CoD3 suffered from this, too. I can deal with it because the game is so awesome, but it's kinda dumb.

I find running through a bunch of fire fun, but yeah I do like to clear out places.

The game is awesome, and the multiplayer rocks. The mp is better than Halo's. Id say the sp is too but the cheap enemy AI on veteran ruins it. Bad game design is revelaed on the highest difficulty setting of any game.

Gears of War and Halo 3 are stll the benchmark in that sense.
From what I have seen, it definitely isn't.

Oh sure...no doubt I find running around wildly at times also fun, but there are some situations during the game where it's just not possible. You wouldn't survive 10 seconds.

I'm the type who will just sit and pick guys off from a window all day, but that is also not possible in certain situations because you'll be there, literally, all day. The enemies WILL NOT stop coming. You could kill more men than the total number killed in WWII and the men would still keep coming. It just seems a little ridiculous to me and it's not a feature that caters to all gaming styles. Luckily, there aren't too many points where this sort of thing happens, but it does happen enough for you to certainly notice it. Sometimes you don't realize what's going on until you've died a couple times though, which kinda sucks.

Have you hit one of those lovely missions with a time limit and limitless enemies? Those are a barrel of "fun", too. I almost didn't pass the last mission in the single player campaign because of that. Can't run through the hail of fire, and you can't kill everyone, and you've got a time limit on top of it. Ouch. Ended up having to do a sneaky end run around all the enemies to pass the level.

Not yet, but sounds like a load of fun!

I stopped after the AC-130 mission and didn't get to play again last night.
