It's not going to happen, there's too much red tape to get through for it.
This man is right.

This is nothing more than fanboy speculation, regardless of whoever says it. There are FAR too many people who will want money for it. Nintendo, if they have any stake in the matter, WILL NOT sell. If EA has rights, it might end up on both as DLCs.

Basically, Goldeneye ending up on any current generation platform is a dream and nothing more. Lawsuits have not even begun.

1.Yes (because Rare own the devleopment rights)
2. Yes (Nintendo owns the source code for GoldenEye + Publishing Rights)
3. No. (They do not need to ask Sony Pictures because Sony already sold the rights of Bond Games to Activsion. Activisions precence bascially negates Sony's need for it to be here.)
4. Yes. (Activision own the rights for making Bond Movies into games).

I do agree with you Pirate, I just wanted to point this out.

I thought they needed concent for character usuage?

Then again, Pierce Brosnan would need to be there as well then...

Never mind, carry on.

I understand Goldeneye was monumental when it was released, but what the flip?? This is an N64 game we're talking about here. Do you really think it would be fun to play a 10-year-old N64 shooter??? Sure there might be some nostalgia for a while, but there are so many better shooters out now, so what's the point?

1. It's still a lot of fun.
2. There's no better console shooters than it... although some would argue Perfect Dark, which is also acceptable.
3. All three consoles have downloadable games that are older than it.
4. The point is, it would rule in online multiplayer.
