Never going to happen, Rare owns almost nothing of the franchise, they made one game, and later EA bought the license.

The problem with Goldeneye is that to appear on any system it would need to concent of:

1. Microsoft/Rare
2. Nintendo
3. EON/MGM/Columbia Pictures
4. Activision, who now hold the rights to the games

It's not going to happen, there's too much red tape to get through for it.

2. Owned by Nintendo
3. Owned by Sony
4. Neutral

You're right. Even if MS and Nintendo said lets put it out on both, Sony still has their fingers in the pie.

Activision would probably just want their name slapped on it somewhere for royalties.
