No, because it compares infinitely better to actually using a gun. The joystick + motion controls are much more immersive than WASD aswell. Whether it's easier or harder to use is trivial, I play games for fun. To summarize - -More realistic -More fun There's that bias again. Can't be bothered arguing here since you've clearly made up your mind. Go play Crysis or something.

| I think this discussion is all irrelevant, since there is no true right answer to the question "Which control is the best for FPS?" since everyone has their own preferences. Telling people that their opinion is wrong is pointless since it's unreasonable to expect that people will feel comfortable with what you feel comfortable with. In MY opinion, its ranked: 1) K/B 2) Wiimote 3) Dual stick but this cannot be a representative of every single person in this thread. I think we should accept that each of these three prominent control schemes CAN be used to play FPSs well. If this is Goldeneye, I hope us Wii owners will get a piece of the action too... not all of us have/want 360s, although that shouldn't reduce enjoyment for any of you 360 owners.

| Haven't I already covered this? It's not a bad thing to like graphics, but it's a bad thing to make a game that has good graphics but bad gameplay. Graphics add feeling to a game. Get over it.

People avoided it because it was an obvious answer, or they skimmed over your post (which many tend to do). You want my answer? I'd love wii mote controls. But it still hasn't been done right yet (unless if MoH is really what it is cracked up to be). Maybe Goldeneye could have been the game to make motion sensing FPS work on the wii, we'll never know. But until it has been proven and can trump PC FPS (I do believe the day will come, it will just take a while for someone to do it), I really don't care. And until the Wii FPS can beat out dual analog (which shouldn't be hard because it is nothing spectacular), I'll take the proven dual analog. I'd rather have something solid then something which could potentially be a disaster. |

| More realistic isn't always funner. I think wii controls fall into the uncanny valley of realism for motion.

| this thread has gotten was off-topic. anyways I do think controls in MOH:H2 are great but that's only one game, but with that one game it is pretty close between KB/M and wiimote for FPS controls IMO.

| I'm still not bought over on that whole pushing the edge of the screen to turn. I keep trying to think of a good way to ad that control to the Wiimote/Nunchuck that works in an easy to use way but haven't had any great ideas yet.
