My Halo 360 is tough as nails, so you can all cram it.

I am returning this crap then selling it for 300 bucks to my buddy with 2 games. AND YES, THE 360 WAS SITTING ON A FLAT SURFACE THAT WAS NOT BEING MOVED WHEN IT DID THIS. I love 360, the games are great, but 120 dollars worth of games down the drain, brutal, I aint a big gamer, but i do like consoles. as much as you guys are gonna hate to hear this, ps3 will be sitting by my tv in about a month. if i didn't have to spend cash on my car, id buy it this weekend.....
so long 360 fans, it was nice playing Live wit yeah...
and bash ps3 all you want, but i have a couple buddies that have this console, and i like it, it works good, i like the new games that are coming out, and the console itself looks more appealing.... I would of bought a ps3 a long time ago, but it took forever for them to come out, 360 it was... back to my original plan...
That's too bad. However, for every horror story out there about the 360, I'm sure there's experiences like mine. I have purchased 7 xbox 360's. Including a launch console. 5 reside at my home (myself, wife, twins, and guest room) and 2 were for adult kids who live in their own homes now.

Trouble free.

Obviously MS had a problem, and they've addressed it, although honestly judging by my own anedotal experience I find it hard to believe it was as bad as the intertubes would have us to believe.

Enjoy the PS3. Once it has games on it that interest me and I can't get on the 360, I'll be picking a few up for myself and the family. At this point, PS3 purchasing will begin when Final Fantasy drops. (Yes that game is a console seller for me & my daughter...actually Star Ocean 4 would have been as well)

I can't ever try to buy a X360, it would get the RRODE in, like, one month. Then, I'm in doubbt between PS3 and Wii.

Well, honestly, I've never understood the "console wars"..as being an older gamer myself, I always buy every generations consoles. This generation, however, I was a bit put off by my interpretation of the whole "shove Blu Ray down my throat" by Sony. I'm done reinvesting into a new media for my home libary (Yes, I started out on Beta Max), which is why I built and have a full blown media server running in my home. Did it cost Sony my dollars? No, not in the long run, but it did cause me to not become an early adopter, as I normally would have.

If you're in doubt between the PS3 and Wii, I would simply look at which platform has the most game types you personally enjoy. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either one.

That's a bit excessive. Your family should learn to share.

We do, I have bought 360's as gifts for friends and neighbors (during Christmas) but I don't count them, as they weren't for me or my family.

PS3 is OK, I like the X360 controller better so I tend to stick with that for online gaming.

I should buy a house in your neighborhood and invite you to a BBQ or two would that get me a X360? I need a 2nd one to mod and I'm one of the cheapest mofos you'll ever run across.

yea....ive been done with my xbox ever since halo 3 came out...im on my 3rd 360 now by the way....2 red rings within maybe....a year? what kind of crap is that? me being the lucky person i am, have all 3 next gen consoles and i have been playing my wii and ps3 alot lately...wii is just damn addictive...and ps3 is just amazing...when i played through metal gear solid 4 i felt like i was watching a live action movie at times...and it was gameplay...

to be honest....i have been sayin this for a while now but i see 360 turning into the next dreamcast...started off great...but slowly started to fall...its already slowly happening....xbox isnt even the top console in north america anymore...the wii is...and i hear that its falling behind in europe too...i dont know for sure but being its been out for a year longer than wii and ps3...thats not good...well see what time does...xbox does have some promising games comin out soon....lets see if they live up to the hype
