It's just a reversal of roles. Before the PS3 fans went "I'm holding out for FFXIII" and 360 fans went "12 sucked, this will too".

Now we witness the 360's "In your face!" and the PS3 retort with "naw, it doesn't look so great any more, your welcome to it..."

I found the trailer extremely uninformative, so I'm just as clueless as to how good it is looking out to be. And that's what matters isn't it?

They're announcing something BIG related to FF7, and its not related to advent children blu ray release either. But im not sure if it'll be tomorrow or on August 2nd at their private party in Japan...

I'm more excited about SONY losing an exclusive than am I excited about FFXIII as a game itself!

IMO, FFX, FFX-2, FFXI and FFXII, weren't the best of JRPGs, and in many ways didn't live to the expectations of the original FF fans. I'm not expecting FFXIII to reverse the tide.

I'm hoping for some really good JRPGs from other developers and distributors like Nippon Ichi.

It really didn't matter to me if it came the the 360 or not. I was going to get a 360 for GT 5, socom and MSG anyway. I still plan on getting this game for ps3, even though I already have a 360.
