As Sony plans to stop selling the 20GB version of the PlayStation 3, the company revealed that it's considering having a larger capacity drive in the PlayStation 3 according to a Bloomberg report released today. Currently 60GB is the largest available hard drive included in the PlayStation 3 hardware, which according to Sony Japan accounts for 90% of PlayStation 3 sales.

“It's in line with our strategy as we had planed to choose models based on consumer needs,” Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Spokesperson Satoshi Fukuoka said.
