WWII shooter for the Wii misses the mark. This Wii launch game had alot of promise as other installments in the series have been gratifying. This game lets you down and hard.

Gameplay:
This game shows developers how not to use the Wii's controls. While the shooting mechanic works fine it is everything else that suffers. In hand to hand combat you are forced the shake the Wii remote and nunchuck back and forth quickly. If you don;t do it quickly enough it lasts longer and pretty soon you are so tired that there is no chance of you succeeding. This is just one example of the many problems with the Wii version of the game. Another is the driving which is frustrating at best. This is much worse for wear as it was ported over.

Graphics:
This game has major rendering and texture problems and looks inferior to even the majority of gamecube games. Overall the game is simply ugly and no one will ever buy it for looks.

Sound:
While the sound in this game is overall decent it is almost impossible to here your commanders speak unless you are standing right next to them and facing them. This is a major problem that i am surprised wasn't taken care of simply because it is relatively easy to fix.

Value:
This game does have a fairly extensive campaign but the lack of any multiplayer mode really hurts the value. It is not worth the cost for the content.
