Game lacks the magic of its predecessor The Cooking Mama series has magic but this magic doesn't fully transfer from the DS to the Wii.
Gameplay:
This is the one area in which this game really shines. While sometimes not as effective as the Nintendo DS's touch screen the Wii remote works well in this game. The sensitivity of the remote makes it possible to really replicate what you would do in the kitchen and that is a great aspect. There are a few motions that are tricky to figure out but once you get past them you will hit your stride. This game is fun for all ages.

Graphics:
This game is nothing special graphically. While its art is creative and fun it just doesn't make up for the 2D game. So much more could have been done in this department that its sad.

Sound:
This game has some fun soundtracks. While not very distracting they do add to the games feel and fun.
Sound Score:7
Value:
This game does lack a significant amount of content. From what I have played it appears to have about as much playtime included as the Nintendo DS version. Though the cook offs do add some variety they do not make up for the lack of an extended game.
