The controls are the key to the innovation. A wiimote and nunchuck I am convinced, are the future of gaming. I do not believe the next consoles will have single piece controllers but will be two pieces and motion sensing. And last gen rumble is nothing compared to a speaker in the Wiimote. Like 5.1? Try shooting a gun and HEARING the muzzle flash. It is not only fun but the potential is unimaginable. Not just boxing and shooting, but imagine sword fighting or graffiting in Jet Grind.

The online.... leaves some to be desired. Opera plain out sucks, no online games yet, friend codes suck. but the virtual console is the best download service of the three. Can you get space harrier and Streets of rage anywhere else? Let alone 2d games from the golden age of Nintendo? Every week the Virtual console proves itself again and again.

But new games are the best. New exclusives that would be unplayable on other consoles are announced constantly and every bland game is spiced up with amazingly interactivity. If you think it's to much effort and you are a lazy gamer? Try fishing in Zelda for 2 hours and tell me who is lazier. The point is FUN! The thrill of the arcade and the depth of a home console.
